    • The road to the Lodge is hard to drive, full of bumpers and washes. But at the end we found a wonderful place, heartwarming friendly staff and owner and a comfortable and clean location. The Breakfast and Dinner were make to order, for a very reasonable price. Our whole family loved it. The owner is unique. Very engaged, very friendly to ALL guest, always committed to serve the guests! We loved that place. And we really hope, to visit again one day. Thank you very much for a perfect stay!
    • Our stay was perfect we were traveling with a 2 and 4 year old. The location was remote, and the road was rough getting there but it was SO SO worth it. The grounds were so cool, with streams, pools and a waterfall. The kids loved the chickens, guinea fowl, turkeys and small lizards on the property. The food was SO good and the hospitality was spectacular. It was the the highlight of our trip.
    • Amazing place to stay in Pine Ridge mountains! Very spacious and unique property, good food and welcoming owner. Neil made a lot of great suggestions for our family with kids to do in the area horse back riding, hiking, visiting Mayan ruins, bird/hummingbird watching etc. Would definitely recommend renting full size SUV to get to this part of Belize. Also pack warmer clothes evenings and nights get chilly.
    • Everything! You would be hardpressed to find a more hospitable, beautiful, peaceful place to stay! We count our selves beyond lucky to have booked with Neil! His family and friends were a wealth of knowledge. The food was amazing Please do not disservice yourself and skip that! There is a lovely hike on the property to a beautiful waterfall and if you look hard enough youll see the foot prints of all the friends that come and visit in the night. He also went out of his way to make time to show us some of the animals that inhabit the property! These wonderful folks truly do care about the environment around them and providing a wonderful stay for their guests!
    • Staying with Neil at his place at Pine Ridge Lodge was easily the best place that my partner and I have ever stayed while traveling. The food was great, the atmosphere felt like home, and the location was spectacular.

    • The spacious room, warm shower, comfortable bed, quietness, staff service, onsite restaurant.
    • Mariposa is very tranquil, nice property with a few short hiking paths. This resort would be great for guests who want to go somewhere, and only leave on guided tours. It is a beautiful location. The tour to the mayan ruins was great with Damien and they arranged for us to visit the womens coop in the next town which I highly recommend. We made corn tortillas with a mayan stone and then did some clay crafts. They will make meals for you at the coop if you askdelicious and home made! The workers like gardeners, landscapers, etc. were really friendly and happy to share information.
    • Aline, her minime, and Rosa were amazing hosts. … as 2 nonvegans not knowing what to expect coming to Mariposa, the food surpassed our expectations, portions were generous and beyond flavorful. Best orange juice and fruit jam Ive ever had. Bed super comfy, enclosed porch with hammock was our chilling spot and perfect for the early mornings/rainy nights safe from the mosquitoes and other bugs. Will visit again in the near future! Thank you so much again for everything.
    • Loved the location. Jungle all around, a large variety of birds everywhere.I think one of the best things was the yoga deck. Very peaceful. The vegan food was amazing, even my 13 and 15 year olds liked it! We would absolutely stay there again , it was so unique.
    • The owner and the staff were amazing! So friendly, many animals on the property for our kids to play with, other kids, nature trails, lizards, birds, pigs, dogs, etc. Our kids love it. The staff are very friendly, the food is incredible local cuisine and our room was perfect!

    • It was a lovely, quiet getaway and a great central location for manyunique Belizean sites. 1.5 hours to atm cave, 2 hours to Caracol, 1 hourto Rio On pools, great ziplining right there on the property, not tomention the parks and wildlife refuges just to the south and east. Iwould recommemd renting a car, suv type with some clearance for the roadfeom the westwrn highway. We only wish we had more time to explorearound there. Farm to table restaurant was wonderful, authentic, changing slightly everuday and always fresh prepared for everyone. Mywife has a gluten allergy and the staff was very accommodating. Kate was just a great host where she was very accommodating with breakfast and my laundry and automatically giving me extra bath towels and made my stay as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend this place and hope to return there when I visit Belize again.
    • This place is set up with love for guests and nature. Kitchen facilities great to have in this area where there are only few restaurants. Good place to be disconnected. Surrounded by green forest. Birds are heard and seen on every corner. The host are superfriendly and welcoming. Good place to be disconected and be yourself since there is no internet access the whole area itself. Great base for visiting the Chiquibul forests and savannahs, Pine Ridge or Panty National Park.
