digital signage: home office
The Beaver Group created all the content, configured all the machines and installed the entire system for the Home Office throughout various locations in the UK…
the client
The Home Office is the lead government department for immigration and passports, drugs policy, counter-terrorism and police. With offices all over the country (including the Scientific Development Branch, Young Offenders Institutes, etc.), the Home Office is one of the largest branches of the government.
the objective
In addition to traditional methods of communication, such as emails, intranet and notice boards, the Home Office chose a digital signage network to deliver messages throughout the organisation to staff. Using a live, web-enabled system meant they could get important notices out to staff when they otherwise might miss them.
the solution
The Beaver Group created all the content, configured all the machines and installed the entire system for the Home Office throughout various locations in the UK. To keep the management of the content on the screens a simple as possible, Beaver designed templates which are easily populated by the Home Office staff or automatic sources.
For each site, there were different challenges; but using a variety of solutions, the Beaver Group provides a reliable, effective and on-going government signage system.
the result
Home Office staff are now able to see important announcements and notices, along with news headlines, whilst doing their normal daily activities. With screens positioned in reception areas, corridors, near lifts and in offices, messages are better communicated and delivered to the people who need them.
The Beaver Group continues to provide ongoing support and new installations for the Home Office digital signage network.
