Sometimes, a good website just means ensuring it reflects the brand and building it with current web technologies. Simple designs and clearly laid out pages can be all it takes to make a positive impression on visitors.
And that’s what we’ve done with the website for C3 Print – working with them, we’ve built a new site to present their messages and images across in a clear, uncluttered way.
“It’s just what we were looking for, a well-designed site that reflects our brand. We think Beaver has done a fantastic job, the site looks great and gives us a presence on the web” – Neil Cook, Marketing Director, C3 Print

I recently read an article about how nearly one in three adults in the UK owns a smartphone. This ties neatly into another statistic, that 50% of all internet access is via mobile connections, rather than logging on at a desktop. For that reason, websites that are mobile optimised are vital for companies looking to engage with customers via the web.
We create websites which are compatible for mobile and tablet devices, meaning content is formatted to communicate directly with this expanding market.
The snazzy work we recently completed for Heat Recruitment demonstrates this in practice. It included updating their vacancies page so that people can search for jobs directly from their mobile, enabling them to see new jobs as they become available, wherever they are. Alternatively, using the new ‘iProfileSeeker’ clients can also to browse prospective candidates and create a talent pool, primed for when they are ready to recruit.

‘Invest in Stevenage’ is a project from the Stevenage Borough Council to promote the area as a thriving and dynamic town, full of potential. Its goal is to encourage new business and inward investment to help raise the profile of the town. The new website is a key part of this project, showcasing the best of Stevenage’s possibilities with a clean, stylish and colourful design.
Beaver Design was contacted directly by Stevenage Borough Council, with a clear brief to design the branding and website for this project. After a thorough design process, the final artwork was agreed and the website was developed. Content for the website and targeted messages was developed by Paul Maguire (Magnite PR).
FRIENDLY AND INFORMAL
The visual elements for the branding and website were kept personal, with lots of pictures and simple menus. The goal was to steer clear of being too rigid or corporate, using speech bubbles and colourful pages with imagery wherever possible. As a main entry point for encouraging inward investment, the website needed to convey key messages, whilst showing the enthusiasm and strong potential of Stevenage.

A sleek design supported by strong imagery and clean lines gives the stylish website a professional and contemporary look.
